The Summer holidays can be an exciting and daunting time for parents. Keeping the kids entertained, managing different child care options so you can still work and do all the stuff that usually takes up your time.
I've got 5 tips for you which can help hold things together and help manage your mental and physical health.
Here are a few suggestion from mum friends
1. Get the kids to do a list of things they want to do over the holidays which can easily be ticked off
2. Get all their snacks for the day in a box and they can have them whenever they like although once they're gone there's no more.
3. Have some back up plans of easy free stuff they can do if all goes wrong or you don't have the energy to do what you intended.
4. Screen time is fine if you need a break and/or want to get stuff done (or anytime really)
5. have some easy freezer dinners available
6. try not to compare your holidays to Instagram!
To keep a bit of routine for your holiday I am continuing to run my classes until 17th Aug. I'll also be doing some 30min Live workouts in my FB Mums group which can easily be done at home.
