Moving from Low to High Impact Exercise.

When is the right time to get back to exercise you did pre pregnancy. Series 4. 🤷‍♀️

This one is usually a biggy for women that want to get back to running and It's important that you have considered all these things before pounding the streets. For example if you have an anterior tilt of the pelvis (which is common in postnatal women) due to lack of core and glute strength and stability this can place a lot of pressure on the lower back. Adding a repetitive high impact exercise like running can cause stress, strain and pain. 🏃‍♀️ If you are unsure I highly recommend seeing an female health osteopath to understand more and know what strengthening exercises are needed before moving to high impact exercise. . . . #postnatal #postnatalexercise #postnatalfitness #postnatalclasses #stalbans #stalbansmums #womenshealth #strengthtraining #strengthandconditoning #lowimpactexercise #highimpactexercise #postnatalrehab #running #pelvicfloor #jointstability #corestabilty
